Sunday, January 3rd, Evening Update
Nicole had a fairly uneventful day. The Doctor chose not to attempt to remove her from the ventilator today, they will do another assessment in the morning. If her white blood cell count goes down they hope to perform a test to see if she can keep her oxygen levels up without the ventilator. Her condition remains critical, but stable.

Ben and her Dad tried to get the nurse to support them in their efforts to rid her of the cartilage ring in her ear. Nicole scowled, and the Nurse let Nicole know not to worry that she had her back! - love ya Cole, mom
ReplyDelete... either way, sounds like progress to me. We are so waiting for more news that some of the Nicole spunk is back. Sounds like slowly but surely it's making its way. Thanks for that little update Mom. From Sister-in-Law Kari.
